Over the weekend I felt like watching The Virgin Suicides. A movie about five sisters who end their lives is sweet and mysterious. I really love films by Sofia Coppola-they just are mirrors of real life: slow, slightly boring and involving real emotions that aren't always acted out. Lost in Translation and Marie Antoinette are exactly the same-quiet, unassuming but deal with feeling lost, misunderstood and will almost always have some kind of effect on you. I really enjoy films that aren't overacted, overproduced, but simple and slightly vague.
